"How many of my fingers can you see?" Leo had walked up to me after I shot some men who were about to kill him.

"My heart is beating faster than it should," Was my response because it really was. I had watched Leo take out these men one by one till he went out of bullet.

When one of the last two men went up to him to cuff him up, I became hopeful for a minute that it would be possible for him to do so and I could finally be free from Leo. But then I knew that couldn't happen.

When the second man had a gun to the back of his neck, but didn't shoot immediately, I almost cursed. I know Leo would have found a way to counter him if I weren't there but I was. He looked my way and saw that I watching, watching, and waiting for a bullet to go through him.

I still can't tell if he knew how badly I wanted that man to pull on the trigger but he gave out an order to me the moment he set his eyes on me.

I could have ignored it. I could have acted like I couldn't read his lips and still stood there
