I couldn't take my eyes off her; I couldn't take my eyes off Mae. She looked bored sitting there and staring at the stage where a woman was going through some written acknowledgment.

I sensed she was about to turn her head to me so I looked at the stage, not wanting her to know I'd been staring at her. She might already know that I want to fuck her but she doesn't know that I want something more than that; if she caught me staring delicately at her, it might give her a hint.

Just like I expected, she turned her head and met me listening to the lady on the stage like I had my whole attention to it. When she was sure I didn't have my eyes on her, she slid her eyes over to Lade's table.
