Chapter 17:
Cole:
I shouldn’t have let her go out on her own. It took me so long to find her with the rain washing away her scent. Then I picked up hints of blood and my wolf started to panic, I headed in that direction and found her couple feet away from a field of blood and body parts. My wolf started to beat hard against me to go towards her. His concern for her seems to grow.
Once I get close to her, I see that she is partially blue and rush towards her. I lift her in my arms and she is so cold to the touch. I hold her against my chest and head to the pack house. She wakes up during the run and when she sees her body covered in blood, she passes out again.
I throw open the door and scream. “Skye”
Everyone rushes towards me.
Aunt Savvy holds her hand against her mouth “Oh my”
“Em…” Sam starts to move towards me but I growl at her, holding Emma close towards me.
“To the medical room”

Emma: I awake with a splitting headache and take a look at my surroundings white walls, an IV connected to my veins and consistent beeping from the machine on the side of me. Hospital. Cole: Tonight we have the hopes of catching the witch but it is as if the forest is on her side. That toxic smell permeates it completely confusing the shit out of all of us. We joined forces with the Jewel coven and some of them are working on the spell to contain the witch, while others cast a spell on the dorms so that the rest of the humans sleeps through the ensuing chaos about to take place. Some of wolves up ahead starts to chase something and that triggers my senses to zone in, I hear something huge and heavy treading through the forest. I shift and start chasing, I can only see flashes of something black and it is moving very fast. Then a scream pierces the forest and light shoots into the sky… a witch just died. We move in that direction until we come across an open field and a hooded figure is dancing around a mutilated body on the ground. Cole:We were losing people on both ends, witches and wolves were dying. The dark witch is too powerful and the monster heals very quickly. Cinnamon infiltrates my nose and then I turn my head as I see Emma jumping in the middle of the witches. All the magic hit her and I feel so dizzy as if I am going to die. We all start howling as does the black monster.I run towards her but I am shoved back by some form of magic and change back to my human form. My wolf enraged that he can’t get to Emma and keeps growling at anyone else that comes close.I shake my head as everyone has come to a standstill as the smoke clears from the area. Emma: We are back in that medical room and my mind is spinning, the last time that I was here… Cole had Gryphon remove my memories. He allowed him to tamper with my mind. I let out a growl of frustration and it seems to be heightened by what’s inside of me. ‘You know I have a name right’ the voice says distracting from wanting to attack all the people in this room and letting Lei have free reign to burn it all down. ‘Wow that’s dark’ the voice continues. ‘Yeah well I know monsters are created not born’ I say back ‘and what should I call you?’ ‘Moon Goddess’ and I laugh.
