It has been two days. Two damn days since we got to this little town. After Nicole did her research, we came up empty. I was on the phone with my source as I was walking out of a little coffee shop down the street from our hotel when I bumped into someone.

“I'm so sorry.” I said as I shook my hands to get rid of the spilled coffee. Looking up, I was shocked at what I saw. “Vi?!”

Why is she acting like she does not know me? This is Vi, my Vi. She has the same brown hair and blue eyes, just like I remember.
