Mike
It was early in the morning, the sun wasn't even up yet and I was in the gym. I needed to be ready for what was coming today. I was getting Vi back no matter what it took. If anything were to happen to me, at least I knew she would be safe with Alex and Nicole once that asshole is taken down. The only thing that mattered to me was her and her safety. Me, I didn't care what happened to me as long as Vi was safe. I was punching the punching bag when Alex walked in.

Violet Hearing the word “Angel” brought a glimmer of hope to my mind. I was so excited he was here, but I was also scared of what Ted would do. Violet As soon as we were outside, Ted headed right for the SUV that was waiting. I knew this was the end and I was never going to see Mike ever again. I was not going down without a fight. I was still kicking my legs and punching Ted’s back no matter how hard he dug his fingers into my thigh. Feeling him slow down. I knew we had reached the SUV. He placed me on my feet with my back to him as he placed his gun on my side. “Fallon, get the door.” Ted ordered as he tried to stop me from struggling. “No!” I screamed as I thrashed in his hold. I lifted my foot and brought the heel down hard on his foot, causing him to lean forward and grunt in pain. “You’re going to pay for that you slut.” He gritted in my ear as he tried to catch his breath. “I’d like to see you try.” I swung my elbows back, trying to hit him on his sides. “I’ve had enough of you!” He growled, moving the gun to my chin. Mike The moment we set foot outside, the bullets began to rain down all around. I took cover behind the first thing I saw. I quickly scanned my surroundings to see Alex off to my left and our men all around taking cover as they shot at the other men. I turned my attention in front of me to see Ted holding Vi in front of him as he shot wildly at our men. I couldn’t wait to put a bullet in that motherfucker’s head. If anything happened to Vi, there would be hell to pay. Little did Ted know; we still had the snipers on the rooftops. “Anyone have a clear shot?” Someone spoke through the earpiece. “No, he has the girl in the way.” Another said. “No one shoots unless I give the word!” I barked over the earpiece. The shooting was still going on and didn’t seem to be stopping any time soon. I kept Vi in my peripheral while I focused on taking down as many of the opposing men as I could. Violet It has been a month since everything took place with Ted. It has been a whirlwind of a month and emotions as well. I still have nightmares about everything that happened and every time I wake up, Mike is there to comfort and soothe me. Over the past month, I have been going to therapy to deal with all the trauma. It has helped me cope, but having my friends and Mike by my side has been extremely helpful. They are always there to distract me and keep my mind off everything. It has not been easy but knowing that I am safe and no longer have to look over my shoulder is a blessing. Mike It’s been a month since Vi has been home where she truly belongs. The past month has been a whirlwind of emotions. The first week she was home, I never left her side, even though she refused to be alone with me or let me touch her. The only time I left her side was when I had important meetings to attend. While I was away, I ensured that Nicole and six men were always with her. The second week, we made progress. She actually let me near her, but not touch her. It was killing me to be so close to her, yet still so far away. I was just thankful Nicole was there to support her. Then, last week, she let me touch her. I was so blessed to have her in my life, and I wasn’t ever going to let her go again. She wouldn’t be able to get rid of me even if she tried. I was currently in the suite getting ready with Alex and a few of our men. We decided to have a small wedding party with those we trusted the most.
