19. Falling Out

Andrei’s POV

“Come in,” I grumbled, wondering who was here after my work hours. I had less than three hours to get some rest before I started work again.

I stepped out from the restroom with a white towel draped low around my waist, exposing my abs and v-line. I was holding another towel that I used to wipe away the moisture on my body.

The door was pushed open, and Abel entered the room, his glance falling on me, and I arched my brows. I dropped the towel I was holding while Abel settled on one of the sofas.

"I was going to come see you after I got some rest. Did you hear about the attack?" The attack on the other side must have been why he came here.

However, Abel furrowed his brows, looking perplexed.

“What attack?” he asked, confirming my guess that he didn’t hear anything. “I was busy training with Kern and just got back,” he added.

“I guess that makes sense. One of our outskirts pack was attacked.” Abel shot up from his seat, clearly not expecting it.
