41. I Should Not.

ANYA'S POV

"Okay," Abel agreed.

I looked at him in shock. Okay? Just like that? Does he trust me that much? I have used this explanation before, and I thought that he would at least be suspicious and ask me some more questions, but he just said okay and left it at that.

I suddenly realised that I couldn't read Abel's expression. I could not tell if he believed me or if there was something that he was hiding from me.

"We are here," he announced.

I looked at him. "we are where?" I asked him.

"The place I wanted to show you," Abel said as he flashed me a smile.

My heart must have skipped more than a beat when he flashed me that smile.

I had been so focused on trying to map out the places he was showing me in my head that I did not notice that he had a particular destination in his head.

I looked outside the car. My mouth fell open when I saw where we were.

It was stunning...I had no words to describe it.

Beautiful and colourful petals were falling, which made it even more beauti
