Chapter 62: Lick

As I heard how confident King Edward was that I was the culprit of what happened to Ashra, I couldn't stop but feel affected that there might be someone who knew about it. King Edward was staring at me, in my eyes, invading my soul, pushing me to tell him the truth.

I didn't know what was the purpose of him to tell me he knew it was me. However, seeing how he smirked at me like he liked to play with me.

“Your Majesty, I don't have the strength to fight with other. I always got bullied, mistreated by anyone I known. Did you think I could hurt someone who is known to be an Alpha?” I asked, decided to play with him. He tapped his fingers before he caressed my exposed shoulders.

King Edward's eyes flickered, he stared at me like he had a nasty scheme he was planning to do with me. He licked his lips, and amusingly grinned at me before he lowered his head closer to mine and planted a soft kiss on my shoulders.
