Chapter Five

XAVIER'S POV: 

On getting to the place where the sound was coming from, I noticed that the sound had stopped, and I smiled to myself because I know that someone is trying to play tricks on me 

"I know you're here, why not come out from your hiding place and tell me what you want," I said with a smirk on my face, Four werewolves came out from their hiding place bearing their teeth at me. 

"Uhmm, what do you want?"  I ask 

"We want your head," one of them said, so you and your people will stop tormenting our pack! Making us go into hiding anytime we see any of you people. We don't want that again!!  He screamed and rushed towards me 

"My king? I don't think these werewolves are from this place from the look of their skin 

"I know," I said to my right-hand man. 

These werewolves have black fur but the wolves from the Northern side have white fur; because the Northern side of our supernatural world, is usually very cold that's why people from there normally have white skin as white as snow and purple eyes but, the wolves in front of me have nothing close to the northerners. 

They have black fur, yellow eyes and fangs in the middle of their teeth instead of their canines. These wolves here are from the southern part of our supernatural world. 

The wolf rushed towards me to bite me in the neck, I held him back and held his throat with only one thing in my mind." To end his pathetic life"

While my right-hand man Georgy took over the remaining three wolves, he launched his sword which I gave him as his pledge of royalty the day I made him my right-hand man, into the heart of the wolves and he fell on the ground and died. Not even a witch or a wizard can stop the power of this sword, it was forged from hellfire by the devil himself

When I held the other wolf that rushed towards me up high in the sky, my eyes turned from the normal silver eyes to my original eye colour which was red with a little shade of hellfire in it. His face turned colourless immediately from shock as if they sucked the life out of him. 

" My king?" he uttered with his body shivering from fear 

" Now you know who I am, why do you want my head and who talked you into it?" I asked him 

"Please, my king! spare my life" he pleaded 

"Who!! "I roared with anger 

"My pack leader"

"Who is your pack leader?" I questioned 

"Alpha Dennis, from the red moon pack" he replied 

"Why?"

"I don't know" still pleading with me to spare his life 

I pulled him down and brought out his heart, tearing his body into pieces, and threw his heart inside the forest for wild animals to feed on. 

"You must be very stupid to think that I will let you live," I said 

Turning to where my right-hand man is, I saw only two bodies lying on the ground." They're supposed to be three, where is the other one?"  "He ran away, and I missed him"

"That's okay"

"How do they know that you're going through this side?"

"I don't know" but we will find out soon or later 

"Gregory! How well do you know this Thomas guy?" I asked 

"Not too well, we grew up in the same neighbourhood"

"Hmm, keep your eyes on him. Make sure you report every of his movement to me"

"Yes, my king!"

I came back to the car and she immediately jumped on my body, shivering with fear 

"Am here now please stop, "I promise that as long as I am alive, nobody is allowed to hurt or touch you in any way. Even at that, she still held me tight while I patted her on the back. Within a few minutes, she fell asleep. 

She was still sleeping when we reached my palace which is in the capital of the city. Immediately the car stopped, and the other of my guards rushed towards the place where my car was parked and opened the door for me. I came out and went to her side and carried her in my arms straight to my bedroom where she belonged and laid her down. 

The next day, while sleeping I felt someone staring at me, I opened my eyes and saw her staring at me with her cute cat eye immediately she saw that I was awake and looking at her she dropped her face on the floor, I used my index finger to lift her face we stared at each other for some minutes before I finally broke the staring contest. 

"How are you feeling today?" I asked, she didn't answer but instead was sobbing. 

"What?" I touched her face and felt electric sparks again. I was very happy because this time there is no doubt that she is my link. 

"Please I want to go back home," she said

"Why?"

"I don't want to stay here" she pleaded 

"Do I disgust you so much that you don't want to have anything to do with me?" 

Now, my patient is running low and I don't want to lose it on her. Listen I bought you as my pet and am very sure you know what pets are. But I don't want to make you feel like one so am making you an offer to stay with me here as my woman or live the rest of your days here as my pet every day and night you will come and warm my mattress, anywhere I want it you make it happen and whenever am done with you I will discard you. 

I stood up from the bed, when I reached the door I turned to her and said " think about it from now till tomorrow and I left…

The look I saw on her face when I said those words was heartbreaking but I have to make her understand that as much as I want her to be my woman I also don't like people disrespecting me!
