Chapter Eleven

Xavier's Pov:

When I left her in the room, I came to my private chamber for me to stay and calm myself. I was mad at myself because I haven't been doing things that will make her see that she is something more than a slave or pet to me

I sat down wondering why she would say such a thing to me when I am only trying to console her over the bad dream she had. Then, I decided to introduce her to elders and important personalities in my clan.

My mind is filled with the image of her back in the master's suite. The look on her face while she was sleeping aroused a feeling of weakness in my heart. Nothing else matters now to me except for her happiness which I will give to her no matter the consequences.

That same night my right-hand man George came to remind me about the royal inauguration and birthday ceremony the Northern chief will be having. I told him to organise everything so that we will set our journey in the morning.
