I sighed and cried every time I thought of the reason I couldn’t fix my problem with Ronald right away. I’m the one with the problem and I’m the one to blame.

“Suddenly, I find my mind troubled by the brief period Alex and I spent together, as we seemed to be a happy family before moving here and also after our recent meeting.”

Alex was right when he said we were like family. I just cut him off as he said that we are like family because that’s what my heart wants.

“I feel like I’m betraying Ronald. I’m already engaged to Ronald, so I shouldn’t be thinking about Alex anymore.”

“But no matter what you deny to yourself, you know Alex is still the one you love. Alex is the one you want to be with. Why don’t you cancel your engagement with Ronald as soon as possible?”

I shook my head. “I can’t do that. Miracle has been with Ronald and Ronald has become Miracle’s father.”

“How about your feelings? How about yourself?”
