Chapter 173: Desperate

While I was getting my jacket and my bag, I still tried to contact Ronald’s number but I couldn’t call his phone number even though I couldn’t count the number of times I tried to contact him.

I couldn’t think of anything other than going to see Miracle right away. That’s why after I got my bag and jacket, I left the house, just in time for a taxi to pass by, so I stopped it right away.

I didn’t waste a single second and told the taxi driver the address that Ronald sent me.

“Ma’am, it’s farther and then it’s late—”

“I will pay any amount as long as you take me to this address.” I beg in desperation.

I understand why the taxi driver almost refused. It’s a bit late at night and maybe he still has something to go to but at this time I’m desperate and willing to give all the money I have just to go to Miracle right away.
