I want to hide my tears. I want to bring my tears back to my eyes but I can’t.

“Diana, don’t cry anymore.” Isabelle said to me.

“I can’t help it.” I said, still crying.

“Hold it as long as you can—no until we finish putting all the makeup on your face.” All the makeup that will be used on you is waterproof, so once the makeup is done, you can cry and cry until your eyes will be swollen.”

I was crying like crazy and laughed at Isabelle’s words.

“This is what we’ve all been waiting for. This is the day that will happen, so your beauty should dominate. So stop crying.”

“But—”

“No buts, Diana. Will you stop or I will slap all the makeup in front of you?”

I stopped crying and nodded before hitting all the makeup.
