PATRICE’s P.O.V.
I’m arranging my things and looking at the time on my cell phone sitting at the table. The time is close to nine p.m., meaning the MOA is also about to close. Maybe other stalls are already closed as well. When I finished arranging my stuff, Shin pulled me out of the Starbucks.
“Where are we going, Shin?”
“At the cinema.”
“Ha!?”
I shout out at his answer. What time is it? I’m sure the theatres are closed by this time.
When we arrived at the cinema I was not mistaken, they were already closed.
“Shin!”
He pulled me again.
Doesn’t he notice the other stalls we pass are closed?
“Why is everything closed?” Shin asked himself while we were in one of the closed stalls.
Why, most likely. The mall is about to close, so all the stalls ar
PATRICE 's P.O.V.When we finished eating, Shin and I went for a walk here by the seaside. We wanted to sit on the big rock that is too long where, in front, is the sea of manila bay, just so there are too many people. Shin said he isn’t used to a lot of people. So here we are now. Shin and I lined up to try out the MOA eye or the Ferris wheel. It’s very big and very tall. When it was our turn, Shin paid. One-fifty pesos per head is the price. After he paid, we rode inside the Ferris wheel, of course. And as it slowly worked, I smiled because little by little I could see the entirety of the light of the seaside and the city. The good thing is, when you see the whole, it’s better to see.“Eh?” I was surprised when the Ferris wheel stopped, but it was a good thing that we were almost at the top.I looked at Shin, who was just silent while also looking down at the chin.“A
- (THE NEXT DAY) -….….….….Patrice’s P.O.V.I rolled my eyes when Shin finished running and he shouted again that horrible endearment to me.“Go, My SB!”I am now running alone in the open field. Shin and I were the only ones caught entering, insert sarcasm. After I finished running, the Teacher who watched over us left us.“Here is your bag,” Shin said, then handed me my bag and together we walked to the classroom.I’m irritated with Shin’s face now, if it
Patrice's P.O.V. I ran to the classroom and, when I got here, I immediately shouted Alex Shin's full name. My classmates told me to go to the cafeteria. I thanked them before running to the cafeteria and going to Shin.Going to the cafeteria, I saw Shin with his other friends. I approached them and told his friends that I would only borrow Shin. They agreed but before I could even hear Shin's answer I pulled him out of the cafeteria to a long staircase leading to an open field............."Hahaha! That's funny, isn't it? Ha-haha..." I slowly lost my laughter when I noticed I was the only one laughing and while Shin, he was just a poker face."Do you want me to be in a bad mood, ha, four-eyed strawberry?""I still have a lot of joke searches," I looked again at the notebook in which I had written jokes. "Has anyone ever told
#7. Mimic what your crush is doing.................Andrew was just silent as I secretly watched him while he was reading a book.“Hey, Patrice. Let’s go to the cafeteria,”I looked at Brena and Belle when they came to my seat.Rather than answering them, I just smiled at them and looked at the notebook and book on my desk.I noticed that Belle and Brena looked at each other and then looked at me at the same time.“Uhm… so, are you busy… reading?” Belle asked hesitantly.I took a deep breath before nodding. I also want to go to the cafeteria because I’m so hungry too, but I have to imitate Andrew. Andrew did nothing but look at his notebooks and books and review.“Are you sure? Isn’t this afternoon your favourite strawberry cake will be sold ou
Patrice’s P.O.V.I’ve searched our classroom almost ten times but I still can’t find my notebook, as in every hallway we passed, as well as in the close gymnasium I searched, as well as here in the open field.I stopped searching first when I felt tired.“Here,”I looked at Shin as he handed me a bottle of juice. It’s still cold. Where did he buy this juice?I accepted the bottled juice he handed me and drank it.“It’s late. Aren’t we going to stop searching yet?” Shin asked me.I sat on the grass because I was feeling exhausted.Shin and I were looking for the notebook in which I had written the steps to make my crush fall — Andrew. I don’t want to spend another two days or the weekend looking for that notebook of mine. I need to find that right away. Otherwise, maybe someone else will see that. It’s close
Patrice’s P.O.V.Until now, it still furrowed my forehead while looking at Shin, but he still had the width of a smile while also looking at me.“My Baby’s cute—”I pulled Shin’s hand away when he planned to squeeze my cheeks. His reaction showed shock, so I apologized to him.“Sorry… I was shocked.”Shin’s wide smile returned that was about to tear wide.He held my hands. I should have removed it but he tightened his grip on my hand.“Teachers aren’t here yet, baby, so we can still HHWW.”“Huh?” What is HHWW? I asked myself.“Holding hands while walking. Let’s go.”When Shin said that, he pulled over to the queue of our section. The sudden extra sweetness that Shin is doing still doesn’t cross my mind. He just called me a new end
Alex Shin’s P.O.V.***************When I came out of the library, I gasped to calm myself. Not that I didn’t want to teach that four-eyed strawberry Patrice to cook… I was just scared that he would taste my cooking—she might not like it. But it was in our contract that I would help her get closer to Andrew.I went back inside the library, but it stunned me when I opened the door.Almost all the students here inside the library were looking at Patrice and Andrew. Andrew hugged Patrice back.I was surprised by what I saw but; I was even more surprised by what I did.............●●●●●●●●●●............Patrice’s P.O.V.***************My heartbeats got so fast because I was nervous. How many times have I cursed in my mind? I hope I think and feel wrong.I feel like a statue now that can’t move w
— (FLASHBACK) — .... .... .... Isabelle ‘Belle’ P.O.V. “It’s just this? It’s just the grades you can get?” “Very low grades!” “I don’t know if they even called grades this,” “If only ...” Dad stopped talking. Whenever he was in that part, he stopped preaching to me. Even though I know the next few words, I don’t think I’m ready to hear them yet. Too many hurtful words are thrown at me, so I don’t think I may not be able to cope when I hear those words. “If only your older sister was still alive, I wouldn’t have to worry about this. Why don’t yo
