“Greg.” She said as she looked at him. “We don’t have to rush anything.”
“Look, that wasn’t how I was going to ask you. I still haven’t asked you, by the way. I want to know what you want so I don’t screw it up.” Greg stated as he looked at her. “I know you could do this on your own, but you’re not going to. This is our child.”
“The one you didn’t push for.” She said with a slight smile.
“Well, I didn’t.” he chuckled. “I figured this would happen sometime. You’re eighteen, and I am twenty-three. We have no excuse on any part of it. However, I don’t mind it. I like the idea of having this with you.”
“Greg.” She said and then sighed.
“Sweetheart, we will make this work.” He said as he kissed her nose and then her mouth. “you just have to tell me what you want.”

Getting married was the easiest thing in the world to do for the two of them. They had gotten married within a week of the incident at the store. Though domestic bliss wasn’t what the two were aiming for, it seemed to happen in every part of their lives after they went ahead and did it. It seemed pointless to actually have the ceremony at all. “We want to be as clear as a window,” Kristen said as she struggled to get up again. This was a normal thing for her right now. As she stood, the three men saw her bend over and get the folder of papers out of Greg’s briefcase. He had been carrying those around since the day they got married, but before that, he had a copy of her IDs and birth certificate in there as well. Knowing that this was going to come to a head sooner or later. Greg had found out the next day the extent of what this woman was capable of when the police came back to question him again during his break. It wasn’t that day. It wasn’t the next. Two days after the police paid Greg a visit at school that Kristen noticed that a few things seemed off around her car in the morning. She ignored it, though, knowing that she needed the extra time to get around when she got to school.
