The Apple Pendant

Adiyan’s POV

Xynathius stood before me but seemed extremely distraught and even saddened. I ignored his half-cooked greeting and jumped to the point.

“What did you do to her?”

If I could bore a hole into him with just my eyes I would have done that by now.

“Come inside and we will talk?” he requested, there was this sorrow deeply embedded in his swirling black eyes. He pointed towards the door of what I was guessing was his house.

I glared at him for a while before slowly walking forward as he opened the door for me. We stepped inside the warmth-filled home and it screamed of Karica. Looking around I could tell this was her house, her taste. A comforting sensation filled me to be this close to her again.

“Hey! I am glad you are here. Thanks for coming man,” Kilran had gotten up from one of the sofas and approached me. We hugged.

“I will always come when it involves her,” I straightforwardly stated not caring for anyone’s reaction.
