Unplanned Encounter II

I mistakenly believed that we would be locked in the same location, both of us exposed, yet for the longest minute of my life, we aren't in the same location anymore.

“I advise you to keep quiet when walking Solstice.”

“What did I do once more?”

"Your footsteps are loud"

"I notice, but I hear nothing from it, Casimir,” possibly your hearing is strong because, recall, you're a werewolf? I want to add those few words, but before I can even start to speak, I manage to close my mouth.

I notice that his hand is firmly holding mine, but I never expected it to be soft in any way.

We pause in this quiet nook for a while, and when I turned to look at his back, I saw something I shouldn't have.

I see how serious he appears to be in contrast to the Casimir I had always imagined. The current difference is that there is no longer any hint of menace or teasing in his countenance.
