“You seem to question everything that makes you curious, for such a young person, huh?” He finally stopped and turned to face me.

Similar to before, his eyes would close, and the corners of his mouth would rise.

“Did I tell you, Casimir, that I wanted to meddle in your affairs?” He seemed to lean in closer while I finally manage to gasp out some words again.

Our previous location's warmth evaporated, and now it was replaced by shivers that abruptly ran down my spine and caused every hair on my body to spike in areas I'd never realized it had.
