Chapter 81: Chloe is in a Bad Mood
"Mmm." Chloe moaned and blinked at him, so worn out from not being able to sleep. But on the brighter side, she thought. At least I wasn't asleep long enough to have a nightmare.
"Morning, Luv." Liam got out of bed, and she watched his sexy ass flexing as he headed to the bathroom to begin their morning routine.

Chloe had slept very well in Liam's arms but woke up alone. He was gone on his way to Chicago, and she would be without him for a whole week. "Give her a call then put her in holding cell three." Detective Porter said with a sigh, still rubbing away whatever was eating at him with his eyes closed. Chloe went and took a bath in the Jacuzzi and pulled a book down from Kyle's bookshelf against the wall near the sitting area.
