Afraid

AUTHOR'S POV

Cisca detached herself from Martin immediately.

" Good evening, brother." He greeted. Noticing Cisca's fidgeting hands.

If there was nothing between them, why then was she so afraid? He wondered.

Could his mother be right?

" Good evening, Prince Alden." Cisca curtsied.

He stared at the both of them, fuming inwardly. Why did Cisca allow Martin to kiss her? His wolf Xander was pissed, and all that he could think of was to rip Martin off.

On second thought, Alden controlled his anger and clenched his fists. He was still trying to make sense of what happened. It wouldn't be good for him to fight his brother because of Cisca. It would give their relationship away.

" It's nice to see you." He replied to Martin, completely ignoring Cisca. His face is impassive.

That subtle brush-off hurt Cisca and she wondered why. She didn't think that he would be jealous because he should know that her heart was with him.

" What are you doing here?" Martin asked surprised to see him walking
