Sadness

AUTHOR'S POV

Cisca woke up at midnight and was shocked to see herself lying on the hospital bed. Her hands felt clammy, and she was sweaty all over.

Then she saw Reagan sitting on a chair in the room, and the events of the day she fainted, came rushing back to mind, and sadness enveloped her heart.

Reagan felt like someone was watching her, and she raised her head.

She saw Cisca's eyes trained on her, and she was very scared. Cisca wasn't saying anything, she was just staring at her intensely.

" How are you feeling?" she inquired to break the nerving silence, yet Cisca still kept mum.

It was beginning to creep Reagan out for she stood up immediately, and walked quietly to Cisca's bed.

" Please don't touch me," Cisca whispered in a quiet voice. She was yet to process it, and she didn't want to say irrevocable things. It was better not to say them than to ask for forgiveness later.
