CONVENIENT CONVERSATIONS

The ride had been a silent one, but Diana had enjoyed every bit of the journey; she was able to rest her head on Simon’s shoulders. It gave her the comfort and confidence she needed, she also felt very safe with him.

Now, they were climbing her stairs, and Diana was feeling somewhat embarrassed because of the stupid elevator wasn’t working.

“I’m sorry about the stairs, the house owner’s a prick,” Diana cursed, a small frown appearing on her face.

“This is nothing compared to the exercise I’ve endured,” Simon said, as he took each step carefully. He was only climbing the stairs slowly because of Diana, if it was only him; he’d have run all the way to the top.

“Well, it something for me!” Diana complained, her breath was starting to get heavy.

“Want me to carry you?” Simon offered jokingly, a grin curling the side of his lips.

He never expected the answer he got.

“Yes, I would be really grateful,” Diana paused, panting slowly, she was stretching out her hands to Simon.
