MACHINE GUN: THE ENEMY’S CHOICE

Nick and Angelina entered the house, Simon glanced around the dark street, everything seemed normal; he could only hear the sounds of birds and crickets, he closed the door behind him.

Simon hoped they weren’t being monitored, at least even if they were, Nick and Angelina were on casual clothes. They’d think of them as just mere visitors. He was really hoping that the attack happened that night, so he’d be able to stop pretending.

“So what’s the plan,” Simon quickly asked, staring at Nick who had made himself comfortable on one of the sofas in the living room. Angelina sat on the other sofa, it seemed they didn’t get along well. Simon thought.

“First of all, allow me enjoy my pizza, I’m starving,” Nick responded, opening the pizza box he had kept beside him on the sofa.

“Do you think we’ve time for that, the enemy could be here any minute,” Angelina fired at him before Simon could speak. Her face told how serious she was.

“That was exactly what i wanted to say, we can’t let our
