PAIN AND GUILT

Julia felt Nick’s cold palm around her wrist, she couldn’t bring herself to turnaround and look at him in the eye. She never thought he’d go this far, when he came up to the counter and asked for a drink without even properly exchanging pleasantries with her, she thought he had something troubling his mind. That was the opportunity she wanted to use, but it seemed as if she was wrong.

“Let go of the woman mate, what business do you have with her?” Gonzalez grumbled, tapping Nick by the shoulder.

Nick looked at his shoulder, then shifted his gaze to the man, glaring at him. He was still holding Julia’s wrist.

He controlled the pent up anger that was trying to explode inside of him, he had been through a lot that week and was still very angry that Angelina was struggling to survive. The man who was talking to him was the owner of the club, his guards were everywhere, he wouldn’t stand a chance if a fight broke out.
