Sally's POV

I shook my head. "No", But I have read about them. They are ruthless soldiers tasked with protecting magical creatures like me. Some would call them our guardian angels. Both my grandparents and parents met them.

Even though I have never crossed paths with them, even though the Goddess has destined me to be one of the guardian angels. Honestly, I am the most ungrateful son to ever walk on this earth.

“Liar,” I heard Albert's voice in my head as he stared at me.

I shot him a look before turning my attention to Simon who had just returned from somewhere, soaking wet. “What the hell happened to you?”

"Sally left the campus, without any umbrella. She looked heartbroken," He reported.

"Where's Allen?" Linus looked around.

Michael came up behind Simon. "He followed her, just to make sure she was okay."

I can still feel the sharp pain in my chest. I secretly hoped that she was okay. "Allen, get back here, now," I commanded through our mental link.
