Sally's POV

“How did the Scorpion King kill James?”

The woman sighed sadly. “You should know that the venom of supernatural creatures is much more dangerous than that of ordinary animals. The chemical in the Scorpion Ghost's poison is almost the same as silver. So one blow can kill both a werewolf and a vampire at the same time.”

“What happened to the Scorpion King and his son?”

My grandmother was silent for a moment before continuing. “The Scorpion King is dead. His son was taken away by the Scorpion King's mother, the former queen. She and the boy are gone.”

“Are they still alive?”

She sighed. “That's the boy. The woman died 3 years ago,”
