Seventy-Six

Sally's POV

"Drop it or die," I warned, silently panting. He heeded the warning and let his twin blades clang against the floor, his hands raised to either side of his head, admitting he had lost.

The place seemed tense and quiet until I heard Jolie's voice coming from my left. "Sally. That was intense."

The woman stood up, raising her arms before folding them back down. "You are my Queen." She teased.

When I took the sword away from him, I immediately noticed a look of fear mixed with respect in the eyes of each of my relatives. It's nice to prove to them that I'm not so different from people like them.

"This ends our match for today." My grandfather said, dismissing everyone. Arnav is no longer seen anywhere. I must have bruised his ego too much for my liking. Well, suck it up or go cry to mom.

A few months later, my grandfather arranged a large family meeting where everyone belonging to or working under the Donne family should be present and gathered around.
