Chapter ninety-three

When I have said all that needed to be said. I looked at Matthew with wide eyes, waiting for his response. Even though I tried to be very calm, I was really scared. My hands clasped together, trying not to shake.

I long for happiness but I also didn't want to cheat to get happiness.

Whether our relationship would continue to be good or break into pieces depended entirely on Matthew's thinking right now. He still didn't speak, I waited patiently for him to speak.

There were things that needed to be thought carefully before speaking. I did not force Matthew to rush to give an answer, but patiently waited for him to speak.

"Is that really what you think?" After a long time, Matthew asked me in a low voice. His eyes were a little sad. It was I who made him sad.

Matthew was always by my side to protect me but I made him sad. This made me feel very guilty but I had to make him understand me, I had to expose the worst side of me to him so that he could know who I truly was.

If Matthew still
