Chapter twenty seven

Matthew calmed down faster than I thought. Seeing him appear at the door and sweetly telling me to come downstairs for dinner, I suddenly felt my action on my afternoon was a little overreacted. I shouldn't be so angry with him. It was best for us to keep our relationship normal until we got a divorce.

"Come down to eat, I bought a strawberry cake for you today, I bought it at the bakery that you like, the cake is really delicious. I ate a piece already, it's really delicious." Matthew said in a soft voice.

"I overslept so I didn't come down to eat on time." I smiled shyly. "Thank you for buying me cake and also calling me for dinner."

"It's okay, hurry down and eat, you normally don't eat much, you're so thin, so don't skip meals." Matthew rolled his eyes.

“Matthew, were you mad at me then?” I looked him straight in the eye and asked.
