Chapter 104

Lillith woke up to someone beside her on the bed. She was cocooned in the warmth of someone's arms. She didn't remember anyone coming to bed with her. It definitely wasn't Henry. He was still a little boy and not grown yet.

She twisted her body with slight difficulty to see Leon, fast asleep.

A frown was etched on her face. It wasn't really a frown. Just a look of suprise. What was he doing here? In all of her imaginations, she hadn't expected to see Leon beside her with his arms wrapped around her. She blinked to be sure that this wasn't a dream. But it was real. He was sleeping beside her and his arms were tightly wrapped around her waist. She smiled for the first time since she had ever woken up from her sleep.

Why was he here? Did he miss her or something?

It was hard to believe that he was laying here, right beside her. It had to be a dream. It definitely had to be.
