The nurse stared at her for a while. She had never seen this woman. She had been instructed by Cali not to let anyone in so this woman here, talking about being best friends with Lillith, was confused.

She looked at Henry. He was crying and she needed to get him a few things outside the room that she had forgotten to get. She couldn't leave him here and she also couldn't call a maid to look after the child.

Seeing this woman saying that she was close to the mother of the child gave her a bit of relief. She nodded.

"I was going to get something anyway. Can you help me look after him? I'll be back in fifteen minutes."

Melissa nodded and walked over to the bed. She made a show of cradling the child in her hand and singing softly to him. "Don't worry about that. He loves me carrying him. He's going to be asleep in no time."

The lady nodded and picked a basket before leaving the room. She spoke to the guard for a few moments before finally leaving.

The guard poked h
