Lillith found Cali seated on one of the stone chairs in the garden. A Cheshire cat had climbed into her lap and she stroked it softly as she said things to it.

Lillith wondered how a woman as soft as this was a soldier and her guard from evil. She guessed she hadn't seen that side of her yet.

She pushed forward, ignoring Ginevra's words and hating that the woman was even following behind her. But there was nothing she could do.

Cali raised her head to see both women coming towards her and stood to her feet immediately, letting the Cheshire cat walk away.

She cleared her throat. "How may I help you ladies?" She asked in the politest tone ever.

Lillith set the platter on the space beside her and took a seat. "I got this for you."

Cali looked from Lillith to the plate beside her to Ginevra who was watching them. "Ohh."

"I'm not going to say a word to anyone," Ginevra said and raised her hand. She must have noticed that she wasn't really welcome here. "I'
