After Cali had explained it all to Lillith, the nursing mother began to see her in another light.

"You lied to me, Cali," Lillith said. She wasn't so offended but she gave her maid/guard a stern look. "By omission, yes. I know that. That doesn't change the fact that you lied to me. I thought we were friends?"

Cali swallowed. "We are getting there, Luna. But trust me, I have to obey every one of Alpha Leon's words. That's why I was employed. I hope you get that,"

Lillith couldn't be mad. Cali was right. She was being obedient to her Alpha but that still made her really angry. Sighing, she nodded. "I do get it. But promise me that this would be the last time we keep things from each other,"

Cali smiled. "I don't think that's something I can really keep to myself, you know. It'll be really hard for me,"

Lillith rolled her eyes and nodded. "Right."

Henry was awake and still playing with the toy Cali got him. "He's definitely in love with you. He has refused to
