"Hey." A voice whispered, and I woke up startled.

I rose from my slumber, still bitter at how Anita managed to spin things in her favor. She must have thought that she had won, but I won't back down.

I turned toward the sound coming from my bedroom.

"Come in," I said when I opened the door.
