AUTHOR'S POV

" Don't attempt to run away!" Anita screamed at Conan.

I don't know what they were arguing about, but I was sure that it was certainly about the wedding.

"What can you do to stop me?" Conan asked.

" You know too well." Anita replied.

" I have agreed to go on with the marriage not because I don't know what to do, I only do not want you to get hurt." He said.

" That's so kind of you." She replied.

Amara continued eavesdropping to hear where this conversation was heading to.

" Why don't you state what you truly want?" Anita asked.

"And quit the pretence." She said.

"Is that so?" Conan replied. "What is the assurance that I'll get my request?" He replied, and I listened. Whatever they were saying wasn't making sense because Amara was not informed that they had a bargain.

" Let's hear it. As long as it doesn't concern that Amara." She replied.

" I want the wedding to be small. A minimum of a hundred guests." Conan said, and Anita went silent.
