YARA’S POV

NINE DAYS LATER…

I was made to stay in bed for a week. I tried to put up a fight at first but thanks to Leo and Mark, they held me down and it was no use to even try and fight against them because I was too weak to do so. So I had to do as they said, under Alpha Denver’s order, and ended up staying in bed for a whole week and two days. It was the worst way to punish me because it felt like I was jailed and at a point, it felt like I was losing my mind.

Freya was the only person I saw throughout that period while Leo and Mark hung outside the room and her presence was really helpful as she kept me company, made me take my medication, changed the dressing on my wound, and checked up on me to see if I was improving as time passed.

I wasn’t going to admit it though, because I was too stubborn to do so but I was actually improving during my forced bed rest, and by the time a week and two days were gone and over, I felt much better and the cut on my stomach from the stab was onl
