Even though he claimed he was helping to get rid of me faster, it still felt very weird because the alpha Denver I had grown used to having around all the time was never going to do that. He was always angry with a deep frown on his face that it even made me wonder how he didn't have wrinkles yet. Then he went ahead to make me speechless too. I didn't believe it and I wanted to convince myself that I was probably hallucinating but it actually happened and I wasn't the only witness.We both entered the office where he fixed me first and I could feel everyone's eyes on us. I dragged my feet as I walked to the door with sleepy eyes and a resolve to make whoever it was that woke me up before my fixed time pay because my sleep was just ruined after a very stressful previous day at the company.
