Today was Melissa's day for a check-up and right now she was sad that Alex didn't go to the hospital with her. Normally, she wouldn't have been feeling this way but it seemed that her pregnancy hormones were really kicking in badly.

Melissa could have simply used one of Alexander's cars or even gone ahead to enter a cab but then, she wanted to walk for a few. At least she'd get to think a whole lot about her life and then her legs weren't going to be pretty swollen.

Alex had warned her never to walk alone. She was to walk in the company of other wolves but today she had bribed one of those men Aled had hired qs driver's and personal bodyguards so they wouldnt even as much as escort her today.

All of a sudden, a cream-colored Jaguar pulled up in front of her, making her to squint her eyes in concentration.

Melissa didn't know why but it was as though she was getting lightheaded and seeing some colors she knew they didn't exist in the sky on a normal pregnant-free day.
