A CHANCE

BLADE'S POV

Furious was an understatement for how I felt as I stormed through the woods, making my way back home.

I was confused, heartbroken, and pained only for a short while, those emotions quickly dissolving into one of burning rage.

How could she do that to me? It made them so sensitive that she was a vampire or any creature other than a human.

I was at war with my emotions. The longer it took me to get home, the angrier I became. I just wanted to get home, scream, break some objects and vent out all my anger until I no longer felt all those emotions.

After the longest walk, I'd ever taken, I finally got home. As usual, I was welcomed by arrays of greetings and bows, and this time, I ignored them all. I was far from being in the mood for unnecessary conversations or whatever.

Without stopping halfway, I walked straight to my room and slammed the door shut on getting there. Angrily, I sat on my bed and balled my fists, uselessly trying to calm myself down.

"Aaaarrrrghhhh," I grow
