Chapter 105

Lexi's p.o.v

I sat happily next to Whitney and Leomord.

A few days had easily gone by and they were filled with joy and fun.

Every day I had a clean dress to wear and we ate well. My hair was fixed by Whitney while Leomord gave me Candy once I had behaved well.

I stopped going to the hut and chose to be with them. I even slept in a tent with Whitney, while Leomord slept outside to guard us.

"Put those shoes on." Leomord instructed softly with a smile.

"Okay." I answered happily then picked them up and stood up.

"Leo, a word." Whitney said and went behind the tent.

"Give us a minute." He whispered to me then followed her as I frowned.

Since yesterday Whitney had been acting strange.

Most times she would tell me her epic war stories and at times she would teach me how to take good care of myself, but yesterday she was quietly looking at me with a very sad expression on her face.
