Chapter 127

Evan's p.o.v

Almost everything was a pain to us. A few weeks had gone by and we were always busy and tired. At first I thought we were supposed to focus on rebuilding the warriors wing but man was I wrong, Uncle wanted us to build more houses around and a large training field. We also had to put a fountain right after the pack's entrance and a parking garage behind the pack house.

I was usually grumpy because I mostly went to bed very late at night and we couldn't talk or chat to our mate because she was usually fast asleep.

Early in the morning we went back to work again.

The only time we saw her was when we were having breakfast or supper but we spoke less.

My wolf was frustrated and I understood him.

"You look pissed." Ryan said in a low tone.

"No shit." I spat sarcastically.

"Who offended you, is it August?" He asked playfully.

"August can't even look our way, he's keeping his distance." I answered then pressed my hand on my hip.

"Then who crossed your path?" He asked seriously.
