The noise had finally settled down but both men still glared at each other, their eyes an expression of their desire to tear each other apart.

Ivy held on to the pack of ice Amy had placed on her head. She had had a mild concussion when Evelyn pushed her down in the marble floor and attempted to kill her. She swallowed hard at the thought that she would have been dead if Bruce hadn't showed up.

Evelyn was awake now too. She had her shoulder dislocated when she was thrown across the room but since she had her wolf, her healing would happen sooner than most. She looked away from Bruce's piercing gaze.
