Ivy looked from one to the other and her hands slowly stopped the up and down movement on her wet clothes.

"You know each other?" She asked Amy.

"Not exactly." She replied, eyeing him wearily. "We met at the ball weeks ago. He was a chaperone at the event."

"Oh." Ivy replied and looked back at the man. He was gorgeous. You could argue that he was a god who dropped from the sky and everyone would believe it.

"We meet again." Adam said to Amy with a wide smile on his face. "And, it's lovely to meet you. I'm Adam." He said to ivy.

"Ivy. Nice to meet you." She replied, relunctantly taking his extended hand and shaking it.

"I'm really sorry about this." He said "let me make it up to you."

"It's fine, my order is still intact. It's yours that spilled all over."
