Ivy stood in the garden and stared Into nothingness. The scent of the flowers relaxed her and reminded her of the times she played at the garden in their backyard when she was little. The parents she knew and loved were killed wrongly and the ones she had never met left her before she could even recognize them. So, she was truly alone in this world. Deep down, she wanted to meet her parents. She was angry at them and would probably have hated them for a while but at least, knowing them or just seeing them would have made a difference. Now, she didn't have the opportunity to. They were gone.

But what if the woman was lying to her? What if she was sent by someone to steal the book? No one knew she had it yet, and no one else knew anything about where she was found as a baby. Maybe she was worth trusting, or at least she was worth the risk.
