A glass of water stood on the bedside table and the sunlight from the window reflected on it causing it to sparkle. The glass was half full and the water still moved slightly inside it, a proof that it had been placed there not quite long ago.

Bruce's worried gaze rested on Ivy and his hands held hers. She had been crying and whimpering in her sleep. She had definitely had a nightmare.

"Do you want to talk about it?" He asked, his eyes searching hers.

"I remember everything Bruce, everything that happened the day my parents were taken from me. Those men are behind it."

"Gamma Theo, Evelyn's father. He led the men into our house and had them arrest my father. They were looking for this book." She said, holding the book they had found the day before. "This is the reason my parents lost their lives." She replied, her voice quivering.
