Book 2: Chapter 27-Victims

Wearing their thick face masks, Travis and Adrian entered the morgue together. Adrian almost didn’t want to look at the corpses when the veils were removed from their faces to their shoulders. The body is still intact, but the color is different, and the face is deformed.

“No, that’s not Sunshine!” Adrian shook his head while his fists are clenched.

Travis pitifully put his hand over his son’s shoulder and pressed it gently. He knew he couldn’t accept that his wife was gone.

Adrian quickly turned around and called Cyrus. He felt that his father was just following him.

“I’m on my way there, I just caught someone who was acting strangely,” Cyrus answered from the other line.

Travis and Adrian waited patiently in the car. Their personnel were also spread around to make sure there were no enemies around. The two bodies died from gunshot wounds, so the perpetrators may be just around the corner. Seeing Cyrus’s car,
