Book 2: Chapter 30-Advise

“Sweetheart, didn’t you like the food I cooked?” Nida asked the girl when she noticed that she could hardly touch the food.

Adrian pulled out his cellphone again and sent a message to his mother. “Mom, what should I do? She doesn’t want to eat. Should I leave?”

“I’m sorry, what you cooked was delicious, but I lost my appetite.”

Nida raised her eyebrows and caught a glimpse of where the girl was looking.

Sunshine quickly looked back at the food when she noticed that the lady was looking at her.

Nida smiled before looking at Adrian. “Adrian, talk to your chat mate later after we eat.”

Adrian looked up, and glanced at his wife then at his former nanny.

Sunshine was still frowning so she couldn’t eat.

The truth was, he is restless so he asked his mother what to do.

“It’s Mom—” Adrian didn’t finish what he had to say when Nida spoke again.

“Goodness, tell whoever you were chatting with that you’ll talk later, honey.”

Adrian glared at the lady and Sunshine might think differently.
