Book 4: Chapter 48-Softening

Surprised by the young man’s kiss on her, she pushed him hard. But because he was hugging her, she fell on the bed with him, and she was lying on top of him.

A sympathetic smile appeared on Tristan’s lips, and he tightened his arm around the girl’s waist.

“Stop smiling!” She slightly slapped the young man’s face in annoyance.

“I miss you!”

She paused from moving away from Tristan’s body. She seemed to be enchanted, staring into his eyes as he spoke. For a moment, she forgot everything, and it was as if the young man had hypnotized her.

Tristan raised his right hand and gently caressed the girl’s cheek. She was blushing, so she remembered why he was in such a hurry to get there earlier. “Who made you cry earlier?”

Her mouth was open, and she stared at the young man’s face in surprise. She was confused by his questions.

“I know you cried earlier. Did your stepmother hurt you?”

Jade quickly shook her head. The aura of the young man’s face was dark, and she knew he was angry again.
