Alexander was not expecting Mara’s phone call and so you must imagine how utterly surprised he was when he saw her name etched vividly on the callers ID

“Mara” He drawled as he picked up

“Alexander, I hope I am not intruding on anything but we still have to meet to discuss the materials seeing as your father is still absent” she told him

“Of course, I shall meet you at your office” He told her

“There is no need; we can have that dinner you wanted on your yacht, I am told that is where you are right now?”

“That will be a splendid idea, I shall send a car over for you” Alexander told her.

She muttered something and hung up.

She wanted to have dinner? Strange, Alexander thought as he continued holding the phone with his eyes staring at the painting of her. He had to admit that Lucien was a good artist, he had gotten the emotion filtering through her face at the moment and it was almost like he had seen her smile himself.
