By the time we reached at the mansion, it was around eleven in the night. I noticed more security wrapped around the mansion and it took me no time to guess that Dominic found out about I being missing from the house.

I switched off my phone in the fit of my anger and it was obvious that Dominic might gone ballistic in my unannounced disappearance.

"It seems your husband is ready to kill the person who walks inside first and I do not intend to be the martyr." Colton said humorlessly.

"It's my fault actually. So, let me be the martyr here." I said. The car stopped right in front of the gates as Dominic's guards surrounded the car as if we were the President of the country.

I stepped down first and the visible relief on their faces told me that Dominic had gone hard on them but they widened as their eyes landed on Chase.

"Ma'am, where have you been? We have looked everywhere for you and Sir-" One of them approached me but paused in the middle as his eyes landed on Colton
